June 2021 Update

Have you ever spent so much in a month, it causes Excel to relabel your chart axes? Because I have.
The worst part is I didn't really spend on anything interesting - the vast majority boils down to 'all the houses had bills in the same month'.

Goals For 2021

The exact same as 2020. I think we all agree to write off 2020.

Goal #1: 50% Savings

Yet again, the actual goal is for this 12 month period to sit comfortably above 50%. Ideally, I'd like to bring the 3year rate up as well, but we'll see how that actually goes.

June Rate: 22%
2021 Average: 42%
Three-Year Average: 34

Goal #2 Reduce Average Spending by 10%

The goal is to reduce my average spend by 10% from January 2019 - bringing it down below $4,400 (a nice rounded number).

June Spend: $5,553.01
2021 Average Spend: $4,504.30
Goal Spend: $4,400 (or less)

A quick 2023 check-in

I have been away for a tumultuous 12 months. I made a lot of changes. I changed career, I removed my birth control, and I very nearly ended...
